Céile Dé Groups
Until a few years ago, Céile Dé only taught in Scotland. As we take our teachings further afield, we encourage and actively support the formation of groups that meet regularly, in both Europe and the USA.
Céile Dé Groups meet regularly in their own areas to meditate together, to celebrate the festivals, and also to share their insights into aspects of the tradition they have been taught.

We require a certain commitment from all of our group members. To understand more about this, please read “A History and Vision Statement for Céile Dé Groups” on our articles page and also “What happens next if I want to join a Céile Dé group? ” on our FAQs page. If you contact one of the group representatives below, they will also be able to help you learn more about what we mean by “commitment” in a group context.
We also ask that all group members commit to attending teaching events given by an ordained Céile Dé teacher in the closest possible area to where they live, whenever they are able to do so, and certainly more often than not. This is because without these ongoing teachings, group participation would soon become impossible at the level we require to facilitate inner movement.
Below you will find a list of all active Céile Dé groups and their contact details.

| Group: | CAIM NA H'ALBA Small, local Céile Dé groups meet regularly in different parts of Scotland; they meet to meditate together, share other practices and to discuss aspects of the tradition. These groups also travel together at other times for teaching days at our Céile Dé Mother-house in the hills above Kippen, near Stirling. To encourage intimacy and boding within our groups, members are asked to do their best to attend as many as possible of their local gatherings, the teaching days, and the major holy days of the year, when all of the Scottish groups come together in Central Scotland. We welcome into our circle any mature seeker who wishes to explore committed membership of a spiritual group that studies and prays together, supporting each other within the vehicle of the Céile Dé tradition, carrying the Sacred Intention and Holy Wish of moving towards union with The One. |

| Group: | Anam Choille The Anam Choille (Soul of the Woodland) meets weekly for Rùn (meditation), study of the tradition's teachings and mutual support on the Céile Dé Path. We also meet to celebrate Céile Dé festivals and Holy Days. Membership in the Anam Choille is based on commitment to the tradition, to one another, and to each group member's growth in the tradition. We gladly share our experience of the Céile Dé tradition with prospective members from the region of Western Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Southern Vermont. The Céile Dé teaching retreats are, however, the irreplaceable source for the tradition. We therefore ask that any prospective member first participate in a retreat prior to joining the group. |
