Conference: Into Christ Consciousness
Sister Fionntulach from the Céile Dé Order will be a presenter at this conference.

Into Christ Consciousness is an experiential and participatory gathering in which we open to an expanded consciousness beyond the polarities of male and female, spirit and nature, dark and light – where we meet, balance, and are reconciled. You are invited to come together, co-create, share, be inspired and make ongoing lasting connections. This is an opportunity to face fear and choose love. To awaken to spirit and become more fully human, more truly divine.

Concert: Celebration of Celtic and Middle Eastern Spirituality through Music and Chant
This is a shared concert.

Sister Fionntulach, of the Céile Dé Order, will share some of the beautiful and haunting sacred chants of her tradition. Some are in either Irish or Scots Gaelic, others still are in Old Irish, the ancestor of modern Gaelic. Some of the chants are long, some are short and almost mantra-like, so there will be opportunities for the audience to join in should they feel moved to do so.

Also - The group 'Sounds of the Eternal offer their music as a force for peace and harmony between diverse spiritual traditions. They invite you to join them in a series of chants drawn from the sacred texts of Christianity, Islam and Judaism, with the aim of emphasising our common vision and encouraging transformation in ourselves and our world.

Date: 27th May (Registration:9.30-10am. Workshop:10-5pm)

Location: Scotland – Mull Room, The Gillis Centre, 100 Strathearn Road, Edinburgh, EH9 1BB

Workshop: ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ and ‘The Marriage of Heaven and Earth’
An exploration, honouring some of the themes of both Easter and the ancient Celtic festival of Beltaine, of the dissolving of duality into Oneness.

The earliest Gaelic Christians happily dovetailed their spirituality with some parts of their native pre-Christian lore. It is clear that in many ways they viewed their Druidic past as a sort of ‘Celtic Old Testament.’ This spirit of inclusivity is one of the hallmarks of the Céile Dé tradition as it is practiced today. In this gathering, Sister Fionntulach will share some of the sacred prayers, chants, lore and practices of the Céile Dé tradition.

It is hoped that this day of prayerful exploration of the teachings inherent in sacred story – a medium especially loved in Celtic culture – will both introduce the Céile Dé tradition to some and also open many to wider ways of exploring their own chosen spiritual path, whether it be Christian, Pagan or any of the other ways that, ultimately, lead us all to the Sacred Union with the Great Mystery who is beyond naming.
