Teaching Retreat: “Uniting Heaven and Earth” – The Living Tradition of the Céile Dé
This earliest surviving, unbroken manifestation of esoteric Celtic Christian Spirituality is rooted in a Native reverence for The Mother - Earth, as She ever-births The Incarnation - our Realised Selves, from the virgin womb of our surrendered hearts. This inner journey takes us through Nature and the Divinities of the Celtic Otherworld, beyond the illusory, beyond what our imagination will ever conceive, into the realms of the Unknowable One; Rúnda - the Sum of the Many, who wants to break and re-make our hearts, so that we might find and know the Beloved there; dissolving at last into the No-thingness Beyond All, realising that Heaven is here, now, and nowhere else.

This introductory gathering will explore some of the philosophy of the tradition and its application in real life. There will also be experiential work:-

- Learn some Céile Dé spiritual practices
- Explore some of the mythology and philosophy of the tradition.
- Learn ancient gaelic sacred chants.
- And other spiritual practices, that work with and honour the beautiful world in which we live.

ONGOING COMMUNITY: Newcomers will have the opportunity to consider becoming a part of a local group that attends ongoing teachings every two months in the Central region as well as meeting together locally. This offers a powerful container for those who seek a path that invites commitment and openness to real inner change.

Workshop: Opening to the Tradition of Céile Dé
This Day of teachings is offered to any of you who are interested in the Tradition, but may also be of interest to those who have walked this Path a while and would like to revisit, or may indeed have missed some of the foundational teachings.

In our day together, we will:-

- Learn about some of Céile Dé's contemplative practices
- Explore some of the historical, semi-historical and mythological origins of the Tradition
- Hear some of the philosophy of the Tradition
- Learn about The Holy-days (called 'The Nine Heights') and how the Tradition works with them esoterically for inner transformation
- Work with ancient Gaelic sacred Chants
- And more... if we have the time...

This day precedes our full teaching-retreat (see below); if you wish to book for that as well as this this introductory day, please let us know.

Date: 30th August - September 3rd

Location: USA – Whidbey Island, WA

Teaching retreat: Immradi Senchas - A Word-Voyage around the Old Lore
This residential workshop is an opportunity to explore and absorb the transformational teachings of the Céile Dé as well as reviewing some aspects of the tradition that have been taught in previous years (newcomers who have attended the previous day's introductory teachings are very welcome).

To help intensify the experience, much of the gathering, between teaching sessions and devotional practices, will be held in silence. There will be time to walk in the beautiful grounds of our venue. There will also be regular meditative practices each day.

The Céile Dé Path exists for people who desire deep involvement in a spiritual life that is rooted in Christ consciousness, the Land, and the Celtic Tradition. This retreat is for people who wish to dedicate themselves to inner transformation through a disciplined esoteric and devotional path opening to mystical union. It is for people who understand that a spiritual life is not about having “beliefs” or “dogma”; rather, it is about moving beyond the boundaries of conditioned thinking toward that infinite consciousness called Imbas Forasnai - The Great Knowledge that Illuminates.

ONGOING COMMUNITY: Retreatants will have the opportunity to consider further, ongoing teachings and practices within dedicated local groups that offer a powerful container for those who seek a path that invites commitment and openness to real inner change.

Workshop /Retreat: “Uniting Heaven and Earth” – The Living Tradition of the Céile Dé
This earliest surviving manifestation of Celtic Christianity is rooted in a Native reverence for The Mother… Earth… as She ever-births The Incarnation in our surrendered hearts. This inner journey takes us through Nature and the Divinities of the Celtic Otherworld, beyond what our imagination will ever conceive, into the realms of the Unknowable One, who wants to break our hearts, so that we might find the Beloved there - and dissolve at last into the No-thingness beyond all things...

This ancient yet still vibrant tradition is at once, lyrical, mythopoeic, esoteric and deeply devotional. It seeks balance at all times between the need for earthly, psychological and mystical development. It has at its heart a deep faith in and celebration of the transformative power of Love.

This introductory workshop will explore some of the philosophy of the tradition and its application in real life. There will also be experiential work:

- Learn about Céile Dé's contemplative practices
- Explore some of the mythology and philosophy of the tradition.
- Learn ancient Gaelic sacred Chants.
- And other spiritual practices, that work with and honour the beautiful world we live in.

Ongoing Community: Newcomers will have the opportunity to consider further, ongoing teachings and practices within a newly formed group that will offer a powerful container for those who seek a path that invites commitment and openness to real inner change.

Date: 22nd - 24th October 2010

Location: England – Parcevall Hall, Wharfedale, Yorks

Teaching Retreat: Deepening Into The Céile Dé Tradition
This is a fully-residential weekend, so that we can offer as intensive a time as possible, to enable us to enter deeply into this ancient path.

Teachings and practices will take place during the day as well as in the evenings. Between sessions, to enable us to work as deeply as possible with the energies we are drawing forth, we will often hold silence and take time to be in Nature in the wonderful grounds of Parcevall Hall.

Although this event is intended as a follow-up to a previous introductory workshop in the North of England, there will be frequent reference to what has been taught before, so newcomers are welcome and will find there is plenty of opportunity to catch up.

Our time together will include -
* Regular chant and meditation practices
* Study of stages on the Spiritual Journey
* Breathing and visualisation exercises
* Understanding some of the Pagan Celtic Deities and their
mythic/symbolic interrelationship on the path to Christ Consciousness.
